Competitive salary and long-term career progression opportunitiesThe Role: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within the facility. You will manage both planned and reactive maintenance, responding to electrical breakdowns and working proactively to minimise downtime. The role also includes budgetary control over ordering electrical materials and critical spares.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain electrical infrastructure to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks
Diagnose and repair faults on production CNC machines
Work with AHUs, FCUs, lighting repairs, and emergency lighting testing
Basic knowledge of PLC controllers, inverters, interlock systems, and control circuits
Install and maintain LV distribution systems, including single and three-phase
Carry out conduit, trunking, tray work, and IT/data cable installations
Assist with general factory maintenance tasks, including furniture and partition movesWhat We’re Looking For: Essential Skills & Experience:
Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship is ideal
City & Guilds Electrical Installations (Part 1 & 2)
City & Guilds 18th Edition
Experience in commercial building maintenance and production machinery maintenance
Strong fault-finding skills on electrical control systems
