JOB PURPOSE
As the Indirect Procurement Operations Manager at Burberry, you’ll be responsible for managing the Indirect Procurement Operations team, operationally-focused improvement projects and strategic priorities for the team. This role focuses on the operational elements of Purchase-To-Pay (“P2P”) within the business, working predominantly with SAP Ariba and being the interface between the business and the Indirect Procurement team.
This Indirect Procurement Operations Manager role is available on a full time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid working, working 3 days per week in our Queen Street, Leeds office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for the daily management of various procurement cases raised by Burberry colleagues through BMC Helix, ensuring the team are resolving queries and meeting agreed SLAs, KPIs and Customer Satisfaction scores
* Leading a team of high performing individuals (c.10 colleagues, including 2 direct reports & 7 Administrators), coaching and empowering personal & professional development
* Production of weekly and monthly reporting to Senior Management
* Identifying and resolving any process issues raised by the team, colleagues or external vendors and operating with a continuous improvement approach
* Working closely with the Transactional Finance teams – notably, the Accounts Payable team – to ensure processes are aligned & effective for all stakeholders
* Sharing best practice and driving consistency within the operations team, always aiming to improve efficiencies, effectiveness and customer satisfaction
* Maintaining all documentation including user guides (both internal & external) and process maps
PERSONAL PROFILE
* Working knowledge & expertise within end to end purchase to pay
* Excellent communicator & stakeholder management ability across all levels of seniority
* Highly organised, able to manage own workload, team management & projects while remaining focused on priorities and customers
* Examples of process improvement with a customer-focused mindset
* Hands-on project management experience
* Management of high performing teams, with a coaching and empowerment focus
* Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel & wider 365 suite.
* Experience with Ariba (or other Enterprise P2P systems), PowerBI/visualisation tools would be advantageous
