Our client is a manufacturing business within the engineering sector. They are seeking a part-time Credit Controller to join their accounts team. The company is flexible for the hours worked between 20 and 30 per week, and is open to whether it's full days, part days, school hours to suit the needs of the successful candidate. This role will initially be dealing with some aged debt and then will be maintaining the ledger. Job Description: The duties for the part-time Credit Controller will include: To manage the portfolio of customer accounts, making outgoing calls/emails to inquire about outstanding balances Updating the customer database Sending out statements to customers Handling all queries relating to the invoices to ensure prompt payments To negotiate terms and payment schedules with customers to ensure invoices are paid and customers' requirements are considered.
