Our client is looking for a Technical Administrator to work at a location in Waterlooville.
Key Responsibilities for the position include:
1. Manage tender process from initial inquiry to submission.
2. Support Project Management through delivery.
3. Develop both product and service knowledge to represent the company to the highest of standards.
4. Work closely with Contracts, Commercial and Office departments throughout.
5. Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment.
6. Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
7. Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
8. Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
9. Present estimates to clients and negotiate pricing if necessary.
10. Maintain documentation of all estimates and related correspondence.
Key Skills & Experience required for the position include:
1. Organised, self-motivated, methodical with attention to detail and have excellent problem-solving skills, all supported by a high level of technological skills.
2. Excellent communication skills and a track record of negotiating and securing contracts are essential.
3. The candidate must be personable and able to establish long-term relationships with clients to support future business growth.
4. The candidate must be highly numerate and a numbers-driven individual.

1. Cost control: Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to control project expenses.
