By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a teenage boy in Bury. Our service user is currently residing at RMCH, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who can commit to training at the hospital to facilitate his discharge home. He thrives on interaction and is seeking a team that can connect with him, engage effectively, and interpret his non-verbal cues. He enjoys watching “Mr. Bean” and “Monster House,” and he loves his favourite giraffe toy and playing with puppets. Your role? To support him in engaging in his favourite activities, manage his clinical interventions and oversee his care needs, which can be quite intense at times. Therefore, we are specifically seeking candidates with experience in children’s complex care. This isn't just a job – it's a chance to have a significant impact on the lives of others. Pay Rates: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour Approx. £112.00 - £136.00 (per 8-hour day shift) Approx. £130.50 - £153.00 (per 9-hour night shift) Shifts Available: Full Time & Part Time Nights 10pm - 7am- 2 - 3 shifts per week Part Time Days 8am – 4pm, Monday - Friday 3 Hour shifts on alternate weekends Essential Experience: 3 months previous care experience Medication administration Personal care Moving and handling Complex Care with Children Clear Communication Skills Due to the nature of our vacancies, service users have the right to request either female or male staff.
