About the role:
* £Negotiable salary
* Monday to Friday (8.30 am - 5.30 pm)
* Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
* Running all aspects of the sales ledger function
* Raising and producing sales invoices
* Interact with customers on a daily basis, answering queries and resolving issues relating to invoices
* Banking and reconciliations, ensuring accounts balances are accurate and up to date
* Reconciling credit card and cheque payments
* Running off turnover statements
* Followed up on outstanding debts or unpaid invoices
* Sorting out any rebates and filing
* Providing creditors with VAT receipts
* General Office/Accounts administration
What you'll need for this role:
* Previous/recent experience in a similar sales ledger role
* Would suit a part or qualified Accounts Technician (not essential)
* Strong communication skills
* Confident using MS Office packages
