Business Development Executive - PPE & Workwear
Braintree, Essex
CSS PPE & Workwear are looking for a driven sales professional to join our team.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for successfully developing a new business to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key responsibilities:
1. Successfully identify new business opportunities and develop a new business pipeline.
2. Arrange and attend customer visits for existing and prospect customers to showcase our offering.
3. Have a proactive approach to sales and consistently achieve your activity and sales targets.
4. Convert prospect clients into trading accounts in line with the expectations of the profitability model and targets in both sales and gross profit and percentage.
5. Confidently present our offering to clients.
6. Develop presentations and proposals.
7. Update and maintain all records within our CRM.
8. Work closely with the internal Account Management team to ensure that customers are handed over smoothly with all their needs clearly communicated and to continue to support as necessary.
9. Build rapport and nurture customer relationships, ensuring client accounts remain profitable at all times.
10. Support in holding regular account reviews to make clients aware of updates in legislation, products and innovation.
Skills Required:
1. Recent experience of working within a new business environment where sales targets are consistently being achieved or exceeded.
2. Knowledge and experience of working within the PPE & Workwear industry.
3. Effectively manage your time with an organised and forward-thinking approach.
4. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
5. Proven experience of building long lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
6. Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
7. A full UK driving licence.
