Regional Business Line Manager Specialty Rental – UK & Ireland Job description As a Regional Business Line Manager (BLM), you report to the General Manager of Atlas Copco Rental Europe and be part of the Management Team. We wish to improve the business through a well-executed and predefined development plan. This includes: Responsibility for the Income Statement and Balance Sheet of the Specialty Rental business in your region Territory management, building the rental business, team and territory Asset management of the rental fleet to achieve the required returns Spread over the countries in your region (United Kingdom and Ireland), you have a team of experienced professionals reporting to you: your local management team (4 direct reports). Mission Your mission will be to take the rental business - with core focus in industrial applications in our four business lines (Specialty Air, Power, Temperature and Offshore) to the next level of profitable growth in your region. You will focus on generating new suitable businesses and applications, as well as new customer development based on local marketing plans. Sales management in your organization needs to be top of mind, and you follow-up on marketing activities in your region. Continuous improvement in price as well as in fleet management is expected. For the entire region, you will have the full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility. You take all necessary steps to reach the revenue and profit targets and ensure alignment towards all rental KPI’s. You will have a well-trained service team to ensure high quality fleet and service, and will ensure fleet unavailability is in line with division standards. A continuous focus on efficiency in logistics and operations is key. Functional cost savings are expected. Additional responsibilities include: Safeguard triple ISO Certification Run all operations according to the guidelines of ‘The Way We Do Things’ Ensure the Atlas Copco brand is First in mind—First in choice for all our target customers Expand the steam rental business in your region Experience requirements A good business understanding in a service environment operating 24/7 is a prerequisite in this position. The ideal candidate has several years of managerial experience, with P&L responsibility, preferably in industrial and/or offshore related rental business. He or she also has experience in customer centers and/or product companies. Application, product and fleet management experience in one or more of the Specialty Rental business lines (Specialty Air, Power, Temperature and Offshore) are a plus. Educational requirements University degree - technically and commercially oriented - or similar through experience. Sound knowledge of Atlas Copco fleet portfolio is an important asset and good knowledge of ‘The Way We Do Things’ is a must. You are fluent in English.
