A highly reputable and well-established Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their permanent staff team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced educational environment and is eager to support the smooth running of the trust’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality administrative support to the senior leadership team and wider staff.
* Manage and maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation.
* Handle telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally.
* Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
* Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
* Support the management of school communications and correspondence.
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the trust.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within an educational setting.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding support.
* Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures within an educational environment.
Desirable:
* Experience working in a Multi-Academy Trust or school setting.
* Knowledge of SIMS or similar school management systems.
