We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in fit-out projects to join our team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a key role in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all cost-related aspects of projects from inception to completion.
Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Conduct valuations and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor project expenditure and ensure cost control measures are in place.
Assess and manage risks associated with cost variations and claims.
Work closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency.
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and company policies.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC forms.
Proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB) is desirable.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
