The Role As a Hardware Support Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the flawless performance of timing and GPS systems, both in our workshop and at high-profile motorsport events. Key Respoisibilities: Prepare, install, maintain, and repair timing and GPS hardware in the workshop and at race circuits. Liaise with venues to ensure equipment and infrastructure are fully operational, arranging repairs or installations as needed. Calibrate and certify timing and GPS systems to meet company standards. Coordinate equipment deployment with the Operations Manager. Provide on-site and remote technical support during motorsport events. Draft and review documentation for technical equipment use. Attend approved training courses to expand your expertise. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is passionate about motorsport and excels in a hands-on technical role. You should bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to your work. About you: 2–3 years of experience in a technical environment. Strong analytical and fault-finding skills. Practical skills, including soldering and working with tools. Good IT and networking skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation. Conscientious, self-motivated, and organized. Willingness to travel and work weekends, with overnight stays as required. Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
