Job Description Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are looking for a Customer Services Executive. As a key member of the Customer Services team, you will be responsible for delivering an exemplary standard of customer service to our customers. You will help ensure that the business meets our customer commitments You will represent the customer and ensure that their voice is heard and acted upon within Ultra PCS, whilst also understanding and working towards the goals of the business. You will manage & process customer production & spares orders, managing the life cycle of these orders, despatch completed product ensuring on time deliveries. Through your close working relationship with customers internally and externally, you will help to identify potential new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: To understand and interpret the customer contractual requirements, including quality, delivery, packaging etc. and ensure that these requirements are reflected throughout the manufacturing cycle. To process customer orders onto the MRP system after liaison with key departments to ensure an achievable delivery date is given. To issue order acknowledgements to the customer which accurately reflect the Company’s conditions of acceptance. To handle customer order enquiries in a responsive and professional manner. To pro-actively inform the customer of any changes during the scheduled operational process that may impact upon the agreed delivery criteria, including the delivery date. To assist in the expediting of information to ensure that the customers’ requirements are met. To produce the required release and despatch paperwork, ensuring that these reflect the customers’ requirements as stated on the original order. To compile and issue regular order status reports, as agreed with customers & management. Regularly reconcile the MRP order book with the customers’ own view of demand. To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested and support the wider Customer Services Team.
