A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Care Assistant to work in an excellent care home based in the Bolton, Greater Manchester area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
A care home which has been purpose-built in order to achieve high standards of residential and dementia care, having been rebuilt by housing and care provider.
To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and be willing to complete Level 3.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your key duties include:
1. Leading and inspiring a team of committed care assistants to provide the highest quality of care to our residents, enabling them to live later life well.
2. Supporting our residents with personal care needs and helping them to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing.
3. Administering medication and maintaining clear and accurate records.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
1. Passionate about caring for older people.
2. Previous care experience.
3. Experience leading, coaching and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care.
4. A kind, warm and caring nature with the ability to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative.
5. Strong patience, communication and listening skills.
6. Ability to maintain accurate records, manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
7. Ability to lead by example, form positive relationships, and energize colleagues to deliver exceptional care.
The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £13.65 per hour, with an annual salary of £23,423.40 per annum.
