We are currently looking to recruit a Production Manager for our premix manufacturing plant to play a key role in maximising productivity, efficiency, quality, safety and customer service.
Key Accountabilities will include:
1. Oversee the safe, efficient & effective operation of the production area in accordance with schedules and agreed targets.
2. Ensure all activities are carried out in line with HSE rules and procedures.
3. Provide leadership and motivation to create a strong team culture.
4. Ensure the Quality of manufactured goods/services by managing to prescribed quality systems.
5. Coordinate training of all new operatives and existing team.
6. Plan manpower requirements and assign people to work places and plants.
7. Ensure concise and timely delivery of all communication.
8. Adopt a Continuous Improvement mindset, identifying and implementing improvements to process, systems and practices.
9. Ensure Plant cleanliness meets company defined cleaning schedules and standards.
What you will bring:
1. Demonstrable experience of working in a First Line Manager and/or Production Management role within a high volume target driven environment.
2. Previous experience working in industries involving blending powders e.g. Food, premix, pharma would be an advantage.
3. Knowledge of Food Safety/HACCP requirements an advantage.
4. Strong track record of people management and development.
5. Ability to demonstrate drive for results and high standards.
6. Proven communication and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to lead and inspire a team.
8. Ability to manage and resolve issues through systematic root cause analysis.
