Position Insights & Objectives The role of Chemical Process Co Ordinator in Rugby plant is to lead a team of CPO technicians and ensure and coordinate all functions for forthcoming CPO maintenance and process improvement in the plant Lead a team of 1 direct with dotted line accountability for 5 shift based CPOs,responsible for all Plant equipment relating to chemical processes e.g. Washers, Coolant, Boilers, Effluent treatment. Work within Engineering department to Plan and Lead maintenance activities with hands on Function. Lead SMED activities to reduce Pit Stop duration. Manage teams to deliver first time right Project/ Maintenance tasks e.g. No HFI, Line at rated speed. Work with other engineering Co-ordinators and CI team to design SOP’s & subsequent risk assessments for all CPO activities. To develop and maintain excellent communication skills with the Engineering Team, Quality, CI team and production department in order to keep all production lines at their rated speed. Work with CI team to support in the delivery of Ardagh Best Practices. Play an active role in Maintenance days. Supporting Team Leaders and production, ensuring the Maintenance is complete, on-time and in full. Support all project/ Overhaul start-ups with Commissioning plans. Be involved with autonomous improvement projects, working alongside shifts and days team to identify and develop. Lending on the technical expertise and knowledge of the engineering and shift teams. Coaching and mentoring of the site apprentices through their rotations in the area Personal Attributes Ability to demonstrate safe working practices Good communicator, team worker and effective listener Must be action orientated and a desire to achieve results / persevere. The ability to work well under pressure and organise and prioritise Education & Location Qualifications Time served apprentice level or equivalent in engineering practices. Electrical Qualification an advantage. HNC/HND in chemical engineering or 5 years experience in directly relatable field Location – Rugby – On-site position
