As a Business Development Manager, you will be collaborating with both the sales and marketing teams to identify targeted leads within vertical and regional markets for the business. Your focus will be on the generation of qualified leads for the sales team, networking with key customers, and introducing Dematic’s solutions to new customers and markets across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate proactively with regional sales, marketing, and EMEA/global business development teams to identify target vertical and regional markets, supporting sales teams in driving incremental orders.
* Lead, own, and execute regional lead-generation campaigns to boost the sales pipeline and enhance lead conversion.
* Establish, manage, and continuously improve the lead generation process for the region, utilizing Salesforce as the global lead management tool, ensuring high accuracy of data.
* Contribute to the design, development, and execution of the growth strategy, including 3-year forward-looking strategic planning processes, such as go-to-market plans and customer analysis.
* Drive regional competitive positioning by gaining insights into customer priorities and future ambitions, evaluating implications, and providing recommendations to the sales teams.
* Oversee the progress of internal strategic projects in coordination with the GCO teams, such as market entry, Win-Loss analysis, and regional market sizing efforts.
* Develop and orchestrate initial contact with prospects/customers, assist in preparing and presenting customer presentations, and ensure the availability of up-to-date product and market information.
* Manage the relationship with industry-specific associations and contribute to the development of external messaging/value propositions in collaboration with the marketing team.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience working within the intralogistics sector within a sales, business development, or commercially focused position.
* An established network within the intralogistics sector and an understanding of the current and future market potentials.
* Excellent ability to network with customers, and generate, and qualify leads within an engineering solutions-orientated market.
* Deep understanding of buyer's behaviours and working through a complex sales process.
* Determination to follow up on leads and make opportunities happen.
* Proven track record of collaborating and achieving data-driven results in a fast-paced environment.
* Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree is preferred but by no means essential.
* Diligent in ensuring data accuracy and proactive in developing innovative ideas.
* A strong team player who can think both locally and with a holistic view of the wider EMEA group.
