Thurrock is an exciting place to live and work. We are an emerging cultural and arts centre, home to the production centre for the Royal Opera House and the National Skills Academy for Creative and Cultural Skills. We have retail and leisure that is among the best, with the magnificent Lakeside, and breath-taking countryside all around.
Thurrock Council's Housing Department have an exciting opportunity to join an established team as a Capital Programmes Delivery Manager. This is a management position within the in-house Assets, Repairs and Compliance service that will directly line manage a range of officers delivering major and planned works, programmes of capital investment and sustainability schemes.
Thurrock Council owns and manages a housing portfolio of approximately 10,000 residential properties across the Thurrock borough. The portfolio varies significantly regarding size and build type, including high, low-rise blocks of flats, sheltered housing residential complexes, and a large number of street properties.
