CJCH Solicitors are a thriving, award-winning legal practice with offices in Barry, Cardiff, Bridgend, Blackwood and Church Village.
We have an exciting opportunity for a new team member to grow and lead our Conveyancing team in at our Church Village office.
Role:
* Permanent position within our Residential Conveyancing team.
* You will be required to develop our Residential Conveyancing team in Church Village by:
* Building and running a caseload of residential conveyancing.
* Winning work and developing relationships with local agents and brokers (ability to introduce referrals would be a plus).
* Undertaking marketing and business development initiatives to promote our Church Village Office / firm.
* Mentoring and training junior members of the team as necessary.
* Working alongside the Head of Residential Conveyancing (based in Blackwood) and Managing Director (based in Cardiff) to implement strategic growth and improved performance strategies across the firm.
* Managing the office and directly liaising with our Legal Operations Manager.
Requirements:
* Applications open to qualified solicitors, legal executives, or licensed conveyancers.
* Minimum 4 years PQE +.
* The candidate must be able to be based in our Church Village office, with a preferred minimum of 4 days in the office and 1 working from home.
* The candidate must have strong residential conveyancing knowledge including but not limited to freehold & leasehold transactions for sales & purchase, new build, transfer of equity, shared ownership and shared equity matters.
* The candidate must have the ability to work without supervision and have experience dealing with volume, whilst providing excellent client care, communication skills, and consistent billings.
* The candidate must have previous management experience of a conveyancing team/department.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Starting from £60,000.00 per year + performance-based bonus structure. The salary is negotiable based on the experience of the candidate.
