Role Overview
The KDN Global Solution Architect, ServiceNow is crucial for driving KPMG's ServiceNow strategy across the EMA region and beyond. It involves supporting key deals, leveraging global delivery centers, and shaping the talent and location strategy for ServiceNow capabilities worldwide. The role holder will define solution architecture, develop standards, and contribute to winning client propositions through product-based solutioning, fit-gap analysis, and automation opportunities. This highly visible position offers global exposure within the KPMG network and plays a key role in achieving the firm's strategic goals for ServiceNow.
How will you make your mark?
1. Facilitate organizational growth by aligning with defined strategies for the global ServiceNow practice, specifically focusing on pre-sales activities.
2. Evaluate business requirements to determine the optimal ServiceNow modules, products, integration technologies, system architectures, and patterns to efficiently achieve business objectives.
3. Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure the solution aligns with the IT strategy, enterprise system landscape, technology environment, and capabilities roadmap.
4. Provide technical design and architectural leadership, including documenting and diagramming the logical, physical, and process views across multiple technology domains.
5. Conduct research and participate in the development of roadmaps, including right solution selection, versions, upgrades, projects, and milestones; communicate best practices through presentations, collaboration with project teams, and authoring content to educate others about standards, strategies, and defined best practices.
6. Lead technology evaluations by identifying a weighted feature matrix for specific needs and evaluating and scoring products against the desired features; research activities include readings, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and lab testing.
7. Collaborate with project teams to assist in solution implementation by providing guidance to application, engineering, and operations teams; work individually and collaboratively with team members to ensure breadth and granularity of strategies, standards, and reference architectures for consistency and integration.

8. ServiceNow technology hands-on experience, including implementing ServiceNow modules. Extensive experience in at least two distinct modules in ServiceNow. Exposure to the implementation of multiple modules is preferable.
9. CMA Certified
10. Extensive experience in solutioning/architecting and delivering ServiceNow solutions across multiple enterprise architecture domains (technology, application, information, and infrastructure).
11. Experience in supporting pre-sales with an understanding of the end-to-end pre-sales cycle.
12. Strong understanding of the licensing for the ServiceNow product suite.
13. Strong understanding of solution architecture on ServiceNow platforms, along with the integration of other SaaS solutions with these platforms.
14. Ability to effectively develop presentations, demos, architecture functional and technical roadmaps, and present ideas and proposals to all levels of management and technical expertise.
15. Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork. Must be able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team; foster the development of high-performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization; ability to participate in the development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities.
16. General understanding of technical architecture capabilities for networking, security, servers, and data.
17. Experience or certification in architecture frameworks and experience with application architecture roadmaps, along with defining contextual, conceptual, and logical models that align both business and technical capabilities to explain the architecture.
