Then this opportunity may be for you… We are currently looking to recruit an outgoing and positive individual to join our team and assist with the management of a range of nature reserves under our management, including Folkestone Warren, Shakespeare’s Cliff and Dungeness National Nature Reserve. Working alongside our team of rangers and volunteers, you will undertake a varied range of tasks from day-to-day including habitat management; visitor engagement and management; infrastructure maintenance and repair; and wildlife surveying. What we need from you You will need to demonstrate your interest and passion for the natural world and commitment to a career in wildlife conservation. You will have excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and have experience of leading volunteers. Applicants will need to demonstrate their experience of working with the general public in busy environments and their ability to keep calm under pressure. You may have experience of managing visitors on a busy public site. The majority of the work involves being outdoors in all weathers and you will need to be able to undertake physical work on difficult terrain. Outgoing and self-motivated, you will be able to work flexibly and under your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will be computer literate and hold a full, clean driving licence.
