Role Purpose:
Seeking individuals excited to transform customer and colleague outcomes using the latest technologies! You’ll need to be able to create and articulate a product vision and turn this into reality through agile delivery. You’ll support and handle varied groups of people, ensuring you hold others to account. You'll excel at working with diverse individuals, encouraging lasting connections, and navigating uncertainty to get results.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a feature team to help Reimagine our Moment of Truth Journey across either Bereavement and Power of Attorney. This includes managing & reporting to senior stakeholders up to Exec level, leading the team to plan and execute agile delivery, ensuring all governance is completed, helping to shape the roadmap and vision for a set of products, providing input on prioritisation based on differing customer demands, supporting the team in understanding & removing blockers.
You’ll be accountable for delivery of your product outcomes, working with your team, and across teams in other platform labs and 3rd parties. You’ll partner with Customer Journey Managers, Engineers, Lead Product Managers and dependant Platforms, to bring requested features to life.
What you’ll need:
* A strong grounding in Product Management and Agile Methodology with proven experience of managing across multiple products.
* Ability to create a clear product strategy using both internal and external insight and clear data points.
* Strong track record of delivery of scale solutions ensuring clear objectives and key results and set and value is measurable.
* Collaborative approach to working with internal teams, partners and third party suppliers.
* Excellent communication skills with evidence of influencing up to senior Executive level.
And any experience of these would be really useful:
* Experience of delivering AI products or ability demonstrate understanding of the technology.
* People management skills as leading and coaching other colleagues will be a core part of the role.
Ideally, you’ll also bring:
* Knowledge / experience of Pega, and how it is used within the bank.
* Experience of business and/or IT change delivery; proficient in the use of all core change tools (JIRA, Jira Align and Confluence).
* Experience of working with geographically disparate software development teams or working with our partners, such as TCS and/or other external software vendors to LBG.
* A growth mindset, striving to grow you own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities.
* A curiosity to adopt new ways of working and finding a way to incorporate agile practices.
