Family Lawyer - Christchurch
Chadwick Nott is assisting a well-established Dorset firm in recruiting an experienced family lawyer to join their highly regarded family team. The firm is a multi-office practice, and the successful candidate will be based in their Christchurch offices and can expect to handle a wide range of family and matrimonial cases in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Handling a caseload of family and matrimonial matters including divorce, child arrangements, financial settlements, and prenuptial agreements
2. Providing legal advice and representation to clients
3. Conducting negotiations and settlements
4. Attending court hearings when necessary
5. Building and maintaining strong client relationships
6. Keeping up to date with changes in family law
Qualifications:
1. Qualified Solicitor with strong technical knowledge and experience in family and matrimonial law
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
3. Ability to work well under pressure and manage a busy caseload
4. Commitment to providing high-quality legal services
5. Membership in the Law Society's Family Law Panel is desirable but not essential
