Manager, Clinical Operations Performance The Manager, Clinical Operations Performance role is key to support the delivery of the development portfolio by robustly defining and tracking upper quartile performance against industry benchmarks and supporting Global Clinical Operations by running performance analysis required to manage the organization. Key Responsibilities Work with the VPs Global Clinical Delivery and their LTs to define, implement and track a robust set of KPIs and measures to ensure upper quartile delivery, and foster performance and productivity dialogues Recommend technological, process, and organizational enhancements aimed at improving performance and boosting overall productivity Collate required reporting to provide visibility of the pipeline delivery progress to the Research & Development organization Work with the VPs Global Clinical Delivery and their LTs to implement the operational data strategy for their departments Translate business problems into requirements for the Trial Operations Analytics team to implement in the Clinical Control Tower or via dedicated reporting ensuring that relevant, near real-time data is available to drive quality and performance delivery of clinical trials, programs and the Clinical Operations organization Support the Director Clinical Performance to draft and deploy the GCO Performance Management Framework, which formalizes how and which data will be used for planning and execution of the clinical trials, as well as how (when, how often) each function reviews, assesses, and take impactful action based on the performance insights Proactively connect and analyse data to help identify opportunities for improvement and greater performance and quality Provide analytics support required to develop robust business cases, set the clinical operations strategy and drive change Partner with business operations, Finance and Tech to ensure continuous improvement of capabilities and tools required to effectively manage the department Drive the development and deployment of innovative projects focused on enhancing business performance and productivity Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in business, math or science-related field Several years of related clinical trial experience with the last few years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO company Several years of experience in executing clinical trials at the country, regional, or global level and possess a deep understanding of the clinical operations business Experience in deployment of global processes and technology in clinical operations Robust knowledge of clinical development for Pharma and Vaccines, as well as understanding of the data sources, roles, functions, resources, cost, performance and quality drivers required to deliver the portfolio Demonstrated ability to connect and analyse data, and leverage it to inform sound business decisions; strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize data (source, consolidate and mine data) and create robust visualizations of data to convey messages Strong influencing skills at all levels; ability to interact with a range of functions, cultures and styles to gather and interpret data Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint We want to hear from you and support with any adjustments that you may require during the recruitment process.
