The Opportunity:
The Civils & Infrastructure Team at Ford & Stanley are currently working in partnership with an award-winning Ecological Consultancy, to find them 2 Senior Ecologists to join their ever-growing Ecology Consultancy Services business unit.

This position would be well-suited to an experienced Ecologist or Senior Ecologist who would like to work across a diverse array of sectors, and operate with a high level of autonomy, whilst maintaining a great work/life balance, courtesy of a business-wide 4-day working week!

Key Responsibilities
* Undertaking UK Habitat Classification Surveys and protected species surveys.
* Building tenders and creating fee quotations.
* Producing complex technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, Habitat Management Plans, BREEAM reports, HRAs and EcIAs).
* Managing medium to large-sized projects with the ability to track financial progress.
* Line management of junior ecologists.
* Logistical and legislative problem-solving.
Interview Criteria
* A significant amount of post-degree experience in an Ecology-based role. Essential
* Hold an Ecology-based degree at BSc / MSc level. Essential
* Be a full member of CIEEM. Essential
* Previous stakeholder/client management experience. Essential
* Hold various licences for protected species surveys. Desirable
* Have a desire to line manage/mentor more junior team members. Desirable
