Locations: Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland
Company: SeAH Wind
Job Description
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical) to join our team based in Middlesbrough.
Here at SeAH Wind, we are on our journey to create the world’s biggest Monopile Factory in the World. We are due to be operational by mid-2024 and we are looking for talented people to join our organisation.
Building the future for future generations, our Monopiles will quite literally be the foundations upon which our Net Zero ambitions are built.
Our factory is in the process of being built and this is a fantastic opportunity to be involved from the early stages as this role will form part of the first maintenance team for SeAH Wind.
You’ll initially be involved in the installation/commissioning of our machinery (which is being installed by our manufacturers). By being involved from the installation stage will allow you to become knowledgeable of all aspects of our machines, allowing you to pass this knowledge onto the rest of the maintenance team.
Examples of our machines are Overhead Cranes, CNC Machines, Welding Machines and Roll Bending Machines.
Supervising a team of Maintenance Technicians, you’ll work to a planned and preventative maintenance system and schedule to achieve a minimum of 80% plant machine availability.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a self-starter with previous experience working within a large manufacturing plant, ideally steel/heavy manufacturing. We’d like you to hold at least an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical or mechanical discipline with some prior supervision/team lead experience.
You’ll have experience working with hydraulic and/or electronic-based systems and ideally working with PLCs such as ABB, LS, and Simatic.
In return, we can offer an attractive base salary, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, and a 5% employer pension contribution.
At SeAH Wind, we are committed to developing a diverse workforce and creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Our aim is to build a workplace that attracts the most talented people and creates an environment that fosters courtesy and mutual respect.
All applications will receive equal consideration for employment regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expressions, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age. We know that getting this right is crucial for us to live our values: Honest, Passionate and Professional.
Simply put, SeAH Wind values you – whoever you are.
