Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to join the wonderful team that provide care for their 10-year-old Daughter who has cerebral palsy in the WV3 area of Wolverhampton.
Main duties:
Social duties
Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends.
Attend medical appointments if required.
Do hobbies such as sensory activities.
Support on fun days out and opportunity to support on UK and international holidays.
Personal care: Support with all aspects of personal care, Preparing and administering PEG feeding, Preparing, and administering medication, performing exercises/physiotherapy.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Specific requirements: someone with previous care & support experience working with children. Weekend availability is a must. Must be flexible. Willingness to Learn.
Hours of work: Up to 18 hours per week in term time.
Up to 22 hours per week in non-term time.
Rate of pay: £12.30 per hour & £125 per night

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
