Home-Start in Suffolk – Ipswich, Suffolk IP5 3SL £27,560 per annum 37 hours per week Full Time Permanent Reference: 0021 Required as soon as possible Reporting to the Partnerships and Fundraising Manager, the Marketing and Communications Officer will play a crucial role in developing marketing campaigns and fundraising initiatives. You will be responsible for producing interesting and engaging content to inform and influence key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, volunteers and fundraising event supporters. You will focus on using targeted communications and marketing to grow our donor base, enhance corporate and community partnerships, and promote our fundraising events play a key role in planning and delivering successful fundraising events nurture relationships with existing sponsors, identify and engage new sponsors, and maximise opportunities for corporate support support efforts to grow and sustain our volunteer network through effective promotion and engagement be self-motivated and committed with a hands-on approach have excellent communication and interpersonal skills have demonstrated experience in delivering effective marketing campaigns and event planning have strong written and verbal communication skills be a strong, positive team player committed to the aims and values of Home-Start. Key Responsibilities To support the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies. To positively promote Home-Start in Suffolk within the community and engage key stakeholders through targeted communications. To write engaging and accurate content for various platforms, including publicity materials, newsletters, press releases, social media and website. To ensure consistent messaging across multiple platforms and that all content aligns with our charitable objects and values.
