We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Stock and Admin Clerk to join our client's logistics operation based in Northampton, NN4, Swan Valley. Working closely with site management and the warehouse team on several contracts within, such as cosmetics, toiletries and beverage products. Shift Pattern Monday to Friday 6AM-2PM £11.44 Summary and purpose of position: Responsible for a range of duties covering all aspects of workflow and stock management on behalf of the sites customers by providing functional support across key warehouse areas of Goods In, Production, Put away, Replenishment, Picking, Despatch and Returns. Role and responsibilities: Dealing with transport/carrier bookings and queries (inbound and outbound). Daily submission of customer manifests in line with SLA requirements. Waving of customer order volumes in a timely manner to meet customer SLA requirements. Setting up and actioning stock transfer requests to optimise stock availability and resolving stock issues. General administrative/clerical duties to support the warehouse operation team e.g., exception management, holiday booking, etc. Assist in resolving customer queries and resolution through the Customer Service team. Production administration including production of labels, stock allocation, specifications, costings, etc. Preparation and DGNs and Export paperwork. Completion of control measures/checks across all areas of the warehouse operation to ensure that customer KPIs and SLAs are met. Conducting P.I. counts in order to maintain stock integrity within pick faces/storage locations ensuring that customer KPIs and SLAs are met. Identifying and reporting any stock discrepancies, taking appropriate action to investigate, correct and record the event using Microsoft Excel and Access. Monitoring and investigating adjustments made on site in a live environment. Carry out allocated audit and compliance tasks. Participate in customer stock takes and reconciliation processes. Report potential risks and aid loss prevention (theft or damage). Experience, Skills, and Attributes: The successful candidate is likely to have experience in a logistics, procurement or operations administration role A good understanding of MS Excel is essential with other MS office programs Strong attention to detail and an ability to problem-solve Experience working to and meeting targets Strong team working skills Strong written and oral communication skills Youll be highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, a quick learner and will have excellent interpersonal skills.
