Deputy Sister - Urology Ward
Do you deliver compassionate excellence? Do you want a new challenge? If yes, then read on…
We are looking for someone who is confident in leadership and has excellent communication skills with a genuine interest in Gynaecology. The successful candidate will gain experience by working on the ward, triage unit, and day case area.
This is a 9-month secondment post.
We are looking for a Band 6 Deputy Sister to join the Gynaecology Ward at the Women's Centre.
The Gynaecology Ward is a 20-bedded unit running alongside a 24-hour triage area and day surgery.
You will contribute to the smooth running of the unit, acting as a role model for junior staff and students, and supporting the delivery of compassionate excellence. The post holder will be responsible for the training and development needs of a team of junior staff, with the support of the ward sister. You will work closely with the ward sister and other members of the management team and will deputize for the ward sister in her absence.
