Thanks to significant sales growth and ongoing business development success in 2023, we are seeking a skilled Internal Key Account Manager to help maintain and grow our client base. The Role As an Internal Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance within existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing customer relationships, increasing sales volume through strategic upselling, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction across our national accounts, particularly within the coffee and foodservice sectors. Key Responsibilities Managing key accounts within the coffee and foodservice industry, with a focus on increasing revenue through upselling and cross-selling strategies. Conducting regular account reviews to monitor performance, uncover missed sales opportunities, and drive new business development. Building and nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers at both head office and site levels, ensuring long-term client retention and customer satisfaction. Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. Visiting clients at their head offices and discussing how our coffee and catering equipment can help optimise their operations and sales strategy. The Person We are looking for motivated individuals with experience in sales, key account management, and a passion for the foodservice and coffee industries. Candidates with a track record of business development and strong client relationship management will be highly desirable. Previous experience in key account management within the foodservice or hospitality sector, ideally working with coffee machines or catering equipment, is highly preferred. Proven ability to identify upselling opportunities and implement successful sales strategies to grow revenue within major accounts. Strong background in selling non-food products, particularly foodservice equipment or coffee machines, is an advantage. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with a consultative approach to account management. High proficiency in IT, CRM systems, and a confident phone manner are essential for maintaining client relationships and driving sales growth.
