Robert Half Technology are assisting a global Manufacturing organisation based in London & Cambridge to recruit a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer on a contract basis paying £200-£300
Role
1. The 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer will resolve incoming requests for technical assistance on standard, commercial and proprietary applications
2. Consistent customer care, quality standards, and reporting requirements are core competencies of the position
3. The ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and fluctuations in workflow are requirements of the role
4. The ability to lead by example, provide direction to junior staff, and work in a close knit team environment are all essential qualities of the role
5. Complete tasks in a timely manner. Follow directions of regional team leads and manager
6. White Glove service for Executives and other VIP's necessary
Profile
The 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer will have extensive experience with:
7. Windows 10
8. MS Office 2010
9. Active Directory
10. Network or Internet connectivity troubleshooting
11. VPN client management and troubleshooting
12. Mobile device configuration and troubleshooting (mostly iPhone, some Androids, and tablets)
13. Printer Management and Hardware troubleshooting
