Main duties of the job Main Duties and Responsibilities: The Paediatric department is run as a team and the clinical fellow will be responsible for the patients of all consultants. The main duties will be on the Children's Assessment Unit, Paediatric General ward (Rainbow) and the Neonatal unit. This will include assessment of unwell children on CAU, Emergency department and conducting ward rounds on Paediatric ward and NNU, attending at risk deliveries in delivery suite and supporting and supervising Tier 1 doctors. The post holder will work in the middle grade rota (Tier 2) 1:6 including evenings and weekends. There will be opportunities to do general clinics under supervision.
