The hours are to be worked Monday to Friday; however, there is an expectation of flexibility which could include Saturday.

You will have previous experience of managing teams and developing and delivering training to a diverse audience together with NHS knowledge and experience. Experience of Medway (PAS) and knowledge of the Trust's Elective Access Policy would be an advantage.
* Deputise for the Head of Elective Access as required.
* Development of management teams and booking and administration teams who will lead the patient journey improving processes and patient experience.
* Training and development of the teams regarding their knowledge and IT capability.

The successful candidate will be a logical thinker with excellent communication skills and importantly an in-depth understanding of the 18-week referral to treatment waiting time standard and associated processes and will assist with the delivery of the 18-week referral to treatment (RTT) standard across the Trust. We are looking for candidates who are able to use their initiative, be proactive and contribute to improving current working practices. The position is based at Lincoln; however, travel between hospital sites is a requirement of the role.
The post holder will also look at areas in the team where service improvement is required and work with key people to deliver this.
