DCT Recruitment Ltd are looking for a permanent Freight Sales Coordinator to join our very successful client. This is to work side-by-side with the Commercial Director. This is a full-time position based on an average of 40 hours working predominantly 5 days out of 7, 8:30 am - 5 pm (shift patterns may vary depending on business needs).
As the Freight Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
1. Liaising with carriers, reviewing market trends and rates.
2. Researching and developing new UK and international sales opportunities.
3. Maximising sales opportunities between our existing customers for all modes of transport; air, ocean, and road.
4. Communicating with customers to build relationships and understand their business needs and requirements.
5. Reviewing emails with sales quotes, FCL, LCL, Road & Air.
6. Working closely with the ops team to ensure the customer service experience is maintained.
7. Maintaining Systems & CRM.
8. Attending Networking events.

Skills Required:
1. 2 years' experience as a Freight Forwarding Sales.
2. Experience with data freight or model transport is desired.
3. Excellent planning and organisational skills.
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Motivational attitude to make positive and constructive input to the team.
