Role: Operations Coordinator
Location: Based at 95 McDonald Road with travel required to centres at Ravenscroft, Liberton Brae, and Musselburgh
Contract: Full-time
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000
We’re looking for a dedicated Operations Coordinator to play a critical role in maintaining our organisation’s efficiency and excellence.
Purpose of role
As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll support a range of functions essential to smooth daily operations, including:
* Administrative Duties: Welcoming contractors, managing inventory, and handling data entry.
* Facilities Management: Overseeing building maintenance, supplies, and environmental compliance.
* IT Support: Assisting with day-to-day technical issues and maintaining business systems.
* Health & Safety: Conducting risk assessments, fire safety checks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
You’ll also supervise caretakers and cleaners, contributing to a safe, efficient, and positive environment across our sites.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in an administrative or operations role (desirable)
* Knowledge of Health & Safety protocols, including COSHH and PAT testing
* Proficiency in IT systems and problem-solving skills for technical issues
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
* Driving ability (preferred)
* Proactive problem-solving and multitasking
* Initiative and accountability
* Adaptability to evolving operational needs

Teens+ is a charitable service provided by the non-profit, Capella. Teens+ is a pathway for school leavers with additional needs to fulfill their potential. We do this by providing post-school education and lifelong learning services for young people with complex communication needs including autism and learning disabilities. The service is person-centred and individualised to ensure each student, regardless of their needs, can reach their fullest potential.
Our goal is to help our students and their families prepare for the next step into post-school education, work or a new home with tailored learning, and life and social skills. Teens+ operates four centres based at Ravenscroft, Liberton Brae, and two in Musselburgh.
