Salary: £25,000 to £32,000

Job Type: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

You will be joining an established Freight Forwarding Company who offer full import/export and cross-trade services via Road/Air and Sea. As an Import Export Operations Executive, you should have experience in Deep Sea Freight and European Air Freight.


Scope of the Role:

1. Import/Export operations role
2. Customs Knowledge preferred
3. Deep Sea Freight experience preferred
4. European Air Freight
5. Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and use of shipping line websites

In your day-to-day role, you will be talking to customers, shipping lines, hauliers, liaising with other staff members, reporting to the line manager, dealing with imports and exports end-to-end, speaking with agents overseas, quoting, obtaining rates, and checking schedules. You will also liaise with accounts to ensure correct rates in the system and use in-house software to ensure all information is added to the system.

The role will suit individuals currently working as Import Export Operations Executive, Import Export Coordinator, Customs Clerk, Import Administrator, Import Clerk, or Export Clerk, and living within a commutable distance of Stafford, Rugeley, Cannock, Telford, Lichfield, Walsall, or be willing to relocate.
