Whilst providing advanced application support and expertise to Information Systems team/s and users by managing and processing Service Desk tickets. Create and execute routine, adhoc and complex, financial and data reports. Ensure consistency, availability and integrity in data for reporting from ERP database and associated data mining from available systems. Ensures BS requests are logged, prioritised, reviewed, approved, escalated where required, and resolved internally or in collaboration with vendors to a high standard in a timely fashion. Proactively identifies issues, inefficiency and/or improvements in applications, procedures and processes, and implements improvement/enhancements. Maintains BS processes, policies and control documentation. Audits and analyses data quality and integrity and issues corrective guidance to data owners. Designs new controls and processes to improve quality where appropriate. Acts as an expert technical resource within IS for business reporting analysis, capabilities and development Collaborates with the EM to define the annual and long-term BS strategic programme. Maintains an expert and current skillset and investigates new and emerging system trends and technologies for possible application to EIMEA’s present and future needs. Thoroughly plans, tests and validates BS upgrades. Provides expert end user and internal IS training on BS. Adheres to SOX and other business controls in the execution of the function to ensure they are operated effectively and annual audits are passed. Perform other related activities as needed to support corporate objectives. Act in the best interest of the company by applying stated company values/code of conduct and acting in congruence to company strategies and priorities. 5 years of experience working in a team environment managing and developing ERP systems including financials, supply chain and sales order processing across multiple EIMEA countries. 2 years of experience managing and developing databases, financial and other reporting and business intelligence, preferably Microsoft SQL and SSRS. 2 years scoping, testing and implementing business systems, processes and related technology. 7 years working in teams comprising internal/external technical IT resource. Experience of working in cross-functional teams on short-term projects for systems selection, design and implementation. Experience of working in a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) or another control environment. Experience of translating complex technical concepts and information to usable guidance for non-technical users. Experience acting as an internal expert and educator, providing guidance and training to technical and non-technical staff, and staff whose first language is not English.
