About the Internal Sales Account Manager role:
As our Internal Sales Account Manager, you will ensure the retention of existing business through proactive outgoing telephone and email communications.
Key responsibilities as our Internal Sales Account Manager include:
1. To introduce and sell promotions, new products, and services (Gap Fill) to those customers
2. To canvas and win new customers through referrals, data acquisition, and targeted new business campaigns
3. To promote and encourage use of the company's Ecommerce system, SmartPad
4. To overall increase sales and margin in existing customers in line with targets
5. To work with the Regional Sales Division to identify opportunities and threats to existing customers where there would be benefit from external support
6. To competently deal with objections and close business through the application of first-class selling skills
7. To deal with customer orders, queries, and complaints efficiently where appropriate cannot be done through SmartPad
8. To maintain a first-class standard of service, collaboration, and communication with both our internal and external customers
9. Undertake all activities in line with Company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures and participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace
