Key Duties Will Include: As a social worker within Safeguarding service, you will be responsible for privileging the best interests of children and young people, which must be based on best evidence and good practice. Complex caseload including undertaking assessments, visiting children and their families, interventions and reviewing the work taken. Work using Signs of Safety model, within the policies and procedures of Children’s Services and regulatory standards. Provide mentoring and share knowledge to support junior colleagues. About You: Degree in Social Work and Social Work England (SWE) registration. Extensive post-qualification experience in children and families social work- ideally in a statutory setting.
