Are you seeking a new permanent opportunity to provide support to adults with mental health issues?
We are working with one of the UK's largest mental health charities who offer and provide a range of services including crisis, supported housing and residential services. A Recovery Worker is required to work at one of their crisis services for adults with mental health.
The role:
* To support the people using the service to help them achieve their life goals
* Work with individuals managing a caseload of clients to help support on a 1-1 basis
* Work to person-centred plans with positive outcomes to help meet the individual's aspirations
* Ensure risk assessments are created and implemented
* Signpost the people being supported to other services where additional support is needed
* Work within the team to ensure the service is run smoothly

What we need from you:
* Strong values with a positive, enthusiastic, and friendly approach
* Experience of working with people with a mental health issue is ideal but not essential
* A calm, patient, and resilient nature
* The ability to work well in a team and also using your own initiative
* Willingness to learn and develop
* Flexible to work day shifts which may include 8-4pm, 10-6pm, 2-10pm, and occasional weekends
* Flexible to be part of the 'back-up' on-call process (extra pay for the days worked)
