Parts Advisor Vacancy!
My client is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor for their busy Aftersales department.
Parts Advisor:
1. Provide excellent customer service by answering customer queries promptly and accurately, and providing advice and guidance on vehicle parts, accessories, and servicing.
2. Identify and source vehicle parts and accessories through electronic catalogs and other sources.
3. Maintain inventory levels by ensuring stock is correctly identified, counted, and stored, and by placing orders for replenishment.
4. Monitor and manage backorders, ensuring timely delivery of parts and accessories to the workshop.
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
6. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
7. Answer incoming phone calls, emails and other forms of communication in a timely and professional manner
8. Schedule appointments and maintain accurate and up-to-date appointment calendars
9. Prepare and process customer paperwork and invoices
10. Provide exceptional customer service and assistance with any customer queries or
concerns
11. Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience
About You:
12. Prior experience in an automotive parts department or related field
13. Excellent customer service skills
14. Basic knowledge of vehicle components and parts
15. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
16. Ability to use an electronic parts system, digital diary, and inventory management software
17. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
18. Ability to work well in a team environment
19. Valid driver’s license
