The role will require a mixture of theoretical study at degree level, with attendance at the University of Lincoln and practice time within services. As an apprentice, it means you will be employed on a fixed term contract, to remain employed, you will successfully complete the nursing degree apprenticeship. On completion of your degree studies you will be a registered mental health nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and will be offered a registered nurse position within the Trust. During your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to experience placements within Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust and the wider Lincolnshire health and social care system. The trust provides mental health and learning disabilities services across the whole of the county of Lincolnshire and therefore placements may be at any geographical area of the county. Successful applicants will be required to travel independently around to county to fulfil these placements. You are expected to remain employed by the trust for a minimum of 3 years post qualification.
