We have an opportunity for an Area Director of Clinical Performance to join their team of staff.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week and the successful candidate must be based in the North area of the country.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Qualified registered nurse.
* Current NMC registration or AHP with HCPC registration.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Experience of successfully leading and managing a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Cross multi-site management.
* Level 4 safeguarding.
* Excel competency.
Duties of this role include:
* Ensure local nursing and clinical standards meet the requirements of Circle clinical governance, statutory, safeguarding and compliance.
* Ensure clinical policy, procedure and operating standards are up-to-date, implemented and associated practice is audited as part of the clinical audit programme.
* To support all facilities in ensuring they meet (and exceed) all regulatory standards and in preparing for any regulatory (or other external) inspections, accreditations and self-assessments (CQC/HIS/HIW), participating in on-site surveillance/audit visits. This includes supporting the co-ordination of audit visits, compiling audit reports and the review of resultant audit action plans to ensure improvement actions are progressed.
* To ensure standards of care, patient safety and clinical governance are effective and robust in the cluster of sites.
* To deliver clinical proficiency and expert advice.
* Ensure that sites can attain and retain accreditation in line with company strategy.
* With Area Directors of Clinical Performance, Directors of Clinical Services, specialist nurses, Head of People Development, regional trainers and quality and risk teams, lead on reviewing national guidance and evidence on nurse research, new techniques and all aspects of patient safeguarding.
