Our client, a highly respected and growing accountancy and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Auditor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in practice who is newly qualified or close to qualifying ACA or ACCA.
About the Role:
As a Senior Auditor, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This position offers the chance to work in a forward-thinking environment that prioritises professional development, work-life balance, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for a range of clients across various industries.
* Lead audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior staff and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Develop strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and addressing key audit issues effectively.
* Review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Identify process improvements and provide recommendations to clients to enhance their financial reporting and internal controls.
* Stay up-to-date with relevant technical and industry developments.
What We’re Looking For:
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or close to qualification) with a strong background in practice.
* Proven experience in auditing within a professional services firm.
* Excellent technical accounting and auditing knowledge.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
* An analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to solve problems effectively.
* Eligibility to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
