We are excited to support the recruitment of a Clinical Manager (Police Custody Healthcare) for a forward-thinking healthcare provider delivering vital services across the West Mercia and Warwickshire region. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead and inspire a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant healthcare services within police custody settings.
About the Role:
As Clinical Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and operational management for a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Youll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including police forces, mental health services, and healthcare partners, to uphold robust governance processes and ensure the best outcomes for patients in custody.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and support healthcare professionals (nurses and paramedics), promoting high standards and professional development.
* Oversee clinical governance and compliance, ensuring all services meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align service delivery with key performance indicators (KPIs) and patient care standards.
* Recruit, induct, and mentor clinical staff, ensuring they are equipped and competent for their roles.
* Provide clinical expertise in complex or challenging cases, acting as an advocate for detained patients.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Registered with NMC/HCPC, with experience in custody/forensic healthcare.
* Post-qualificationin urgent care settings.
* Experience in clinical leadership and managing governance in dynamic environments is advantageous.
* Advanced clinical practice expertise, supported by relevant qualifications (e.g., minor illness/injury, teaching and mentorship).
