About you… As a Business Development Account Manager, you'll play an integral role in the client engagement journey, serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts, nurturing relationships, and helping businesses navigate their digital transformation. We’re looking for an enthusiastic sales professional with a passion for technology and innovation, particularly in supporting Welsh businesses. With a range of business connectivity packages and IT-managed services, including Ogi Pro Wi-Fi, Voice, Firewalls, and Microsoft products, you’ll have the freedom and support to make your mark. You’ll need to be comfortable identifying new business opportunities within your existing base of customers, working on upselling and cross-selling opportunities to help them grow. We’re looking for someone familiar with business-to-business sales techniques and comfortable researching businesses and engaging with decision-makers at all levels. High-level understanding and experience in B2B sales and solution provision for small, medium, and large businesses. Ability to translate customer requirements into deliverable sales opportunities. Confident and professional communication skills that instil credibility with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels. Methodical, analytical, and conscientious approach to problem-solving. Ability to develop clear and concise documentation Experience in the Welsh business telecoms or technology market, along with good connections in familiar sectors, is ideal. What you’ll be doing… This role revolves around building meaningful connections with business accounts, understanding their challenges, and delivering solutions that align with their ambitions. Relationships are nurtured, not just managed, with tailored solutions playing a pivotal role in their growth and success. You’ll be responsible for uncovering opportunities to upsell and cross-sell through detailed Account Development Plans. By identifying key stakeholders and mapping out priorities, you’ll create focused, actionable strategies to drive growth. Working closely with marketing, you’ll ensure campaigns are tailored to strengthen these plans and engage customers effectively. Renewal cycles are treated as more than just contract signings—they’re an opportunity to reinforce the value Ogi brings as a trusted partner, ensuring services evolve alongside the customer’s needs. If you’ve worked in a similar type of role, you’ll know responsibilities day to day will be varied however will include - Develop and implement Account Development Plans to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Renewing contracts to retain customers and grow revenue. Act as the central point of contact for your accounts, ensuring seamless communication and excellent service. Position Ogi’s range of solutions, including Security, Wi-Fi, Voice, and Microsoft services, to meet customer needs. Manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets. Conduct regular meetings to explore opportunities and align solutions to customer goals. Partner with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records to support sales and marketing initiatives Represent Ogi at industry events to raise brand awareness and build connections.
