Location: Guildford, hybrid
Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer with a passion for solving technical challenges? We are looking for a skilled 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our clients' dynamic team! If you have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, hardware configuration, and troubleshooting, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 2nd line support for resolving technical issues related to:
o Office 365 administration, user setup, and troubleshooting
o Active Directory management (user/group accounts, permissions)
o Windows Server configuration, monitoring, and maintenance
o Workstation and Laptop Hardware diagnosis and replacement
* Configure and troubleshoot hardware devices, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals
* Manage user requests via the helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution
* Assist with installing, upgrading, and configuring software
* Collaborate with 1st and 3rd line support teams for escalated issues
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server administration
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and other workstation operating systems
* Solid understanding of hardware configuration and repair (laptops, desktops)
* Experience configuring and supporting network devices (printers, routers, etc.)
* Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-Have:
* Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or CompTIA A+
