Breast screening for the women of Surrey and NE Hants is carried out on a fleet of 5 mobile vans with additional capacity at Jarvis Centre.
Assessment Clinics, held at the Jarvis Centre, are staffed by a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of Consultant Radiologists, Associate Breast Clinicians, Advanced Practitioners, Mammographers, Assistant Practitioners, and clinical and administration staff following the NHSBSP principles of triple assessment mammography/ultrasound, clinical examination, and needle biopsy.
Main duties of the job
What you will do:
* Provide support to the Breast Screening Administration Team, particularly to the Breast Screening Programme/Service Manager and Admin Manager, to ensure the smooth running of the service.
* Provide a broad range of administrative functions, utilising relevant IT systems to support the delivery of a high-quality Breast Screening Service.
* Specific functions will include the use of NBSS and BS Select to support the clinical pathway, e.g., monthly failsafe appointments and other functions to ensure a smooth breast screening pathway.
* Ensure patient and customer focus is central to the commercial success of the business.
* Support the Admin Manager with weekly and monthly reports and performance data reporting.
* Support the procurement function for the service to ensure stock is readily available.
