Job Description Domestic Assistant - PKC12297 £13,232 - £13,827 (20 hours per week) Parkdale Residential Home, Auchterarder A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our enthusiastic and friendly team in Parkdale Care Home as a Domestic Assistant. Parkdale is a Care Home for older adults providing permanent and respite placements. You will deliver and maintain the highest standard of domestic cleaning and ensure a safe working environment. You will follow cleaning schedules and be responsible for cleaning designated areas, working on your own and as part of a team. You will undertake domestic and laundry duties as required, in line with agreed infection control standards. You will follow the Council's Health & Safety and Infection Control Policies and Procedures at all times. You will also be expected to carry out kitchen duties, as required, such as food preparation following food hygiene guidance and legislation. The Individual You will have a positive and caring attitude and experience of working in a domestic setting. You must have a general understanding of Health and Safety as well as Infection Control policies and procedures. You will have good communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with service users, colleagues and other professionals. You will work efficiently as part of a team and on your own initiative. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and have good organisational skills. You will be expected to attend all mandatory training relevant to your role.
