Description We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with company values. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage warehouse operations, coach team members, and maintain high standards in health and safety, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. As part of an exciting transition, you will play a key role in the setup of a new 70,000-square-foot warehouse facility. This includes designing operational workflows, setting up locations, and ensuring a seamless transition of existing operations. JOB DUTIES Lead and manage warehouse operations, including Goods In, Stock Control, Administration, and Dispatch departments. Oversee the successful setup of a new 70,000-square-foot warehouse, including location setup, workflow design, and transition planning. Supervise and develop a team, including forklift drivers, ensuring high performance and engagement. Execute the logistics strategy to achieve operational targets. Oversee inventory control, material handling, and order processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a safe working environment. Monitor and evaluate material flow, addressing bottlenecks and implementing process improvements. Drive labour efficiency and operational productivity through effective planning and resource allocation. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices. Foster staff development through regular one-to-one meetings, coaching, and training initiatives. Support HR procedures, including participation in disciplinary hearings and ensuring adherence to company policies. Analyse data to support decision-making and improve warehouse performance. YOU MUST HAVE Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehousing, operations, or manufacturing. Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Experience in large-scale warehouse setup or transitions is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of health and safety standards in a warehouse environment. Experience in working with inventory management systems and operational reporting tools. Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders.
